Preparing for Your Visit
We are taking a phased and cautious approach to ensure our medical centers remain able to care for any influx of COVID-19 patients requiring hospitalization or need to come to our facilities for care. You can learn more about those steps on our new and improved webpage “Preparing for Your Visit” that provides important information and what to expect when visits our facilities for your appointment or procedure.
As a reminder, please wear a mask when out in public, practice physical distancing where possible and avoid large crowds. If you are at high risk of complications from COVID-19, consider the many no-contact options provided by businesses such as grocery and other goods delivery services and restaurant take-out and only go out if necessary for essential items.
Taking these precautions will help us help you to be safe and stay well.
Updated Screening Procedures
VEText is now available at all locations – simply text the word “here” to 53079 when you arrive, and you will be contacted by your care team when it’s time to enter the building. You will also be sent a link to VA’s online screening application. If you wish to be screened in person, all locations are still conducting face-to-face screening and temperature checks upon entry.
